I’m an educator working with low income schools. I review YA/New Adult and Adult fiction. My favorite genres are the following with elements of romance: paranormal, fantasy, contemporary, sci-fi, and historical. I also enjoy the occasional horror book along the lines of Stephen King and Kendare Blake. (If there is no name beside the word “Review”, it was written by me.) Email: julie@ataleofmanyreviews.com, Twitter: @Tale_of_Reviews

Review Guidelines

  • This blog is for young adult and new adult reviews, topics, discussions, and all things publishing. HOWEVER, we do accept review requests for adult novels as well, but the reviews will be posted to Goodreads and Amazon.com, not the blog.

  • We review Traditional (large and small press), Indie, and Self-Published novels.

  • We do NOT review non-fiction, short stories, novellas, or poetry. Any requests in these genres will be deleted.

  • We will accept print and  ebooks in mobi or pdf format.

  • Please make sure to look through what we review and that we are a good fit for your genre.

  • Due to the amount of requests, we will only contact those we agree to review. I apologize in advance, but it has become time consuming answering each individual email.

  • Review Time frame: We do not guarantee a finished time frame unless discussed and agreed upon for a specific reason (book tour, release date, etc.) Each reviewer has their own to-be-read list and we read at different rates and have different obligations that factor into our reading time.

  • Where We Post: All accepted & finished novel reviews will post on this blog (YA/New Adult), Amazon.com, and Goodreads.com.  Other reviews from Julie will also appear on Library Thing and Shelfari.

  • We would be happy to consider your book for an honest review.

When you request a review, please provide:

1) If your book is MG, YA, New Adult, or Adult

2) A description of your book

3) The publisher’s name, if you are Indie, or Self-Pub

4) Your website or book trailer links if applicable

5) Attach or paste a copy of your book cover.

Please send all requests to julie@ataleofmanyreviews.com (admin)

We do not guarantee we will review every book accepted. Some books end up being a ‘did not finish’ and we will not formally review those and may not give notice as such.

We accept digital galleys/ARCs for review. Our preferred method of receiving e-galleys is through NetGalley, where we are a listed Review Organization Accepting NetGalley Titles.

This is an Amazon Associate affiliated blog. Any proceeds go toward the blog for purchasing giveaways and shipping.

I’ve written a book, “The View.” The View was written to be a quick easy enjoyable read and it is a thriller about an “innocent” caught in the middle of a mafia war, there is also a romantic and paranormal thread throughout the story.
This is my first fiction novel. I’ve included a link to my amazon page for your review of cover art and synopsis, along with sample chapters.
If you think you might be interested in reading my book and posting an honest review of it on Amazon and or barnes and noble, I’ll gladly send a complimentary e-book copy if you contact me with the preferred format. There is no obligation, of course.

    Best Regards,

    Bryan Lyzer
