Holy plot line Batman! Before I get into my take of this episode, I want to give mad, crazy props and all things praising to the writers of The Vampire Diaries. This season has the makings to be the best I think. No far fetched plot changes for this show. It’s as intriguing, thought out, and plausible as a fantasy show with vampires, werewolves, witches, and ghosts can be. Fantastic episode!

Damon is still evolving and man if Ian Somerhalder isn’t doing great acting too! Damon had the best one liners: “You know you were dreaming about me. It explains the drool.” “Stefan is still Klaus’s little prisoner. Elena still thinks she can save him and no one has thought about you since you left.” Oh… and when he’s reading from Stefan’s diary in the car? LOL! Man, do I love his sarcasm. I like the tender side that continues to show but he is still very much a strong character. I also like how the writers are showing Stefan has a bad side too, not just Damon, and there are two sides to every coin. Love this shift in roles between the brothers.

Stefan is proving not to be the lap dog we first thought. However, he is still the Ripper and makes sure Elena understands that things will never be the same. Harsh, emotional words are said. I really hope words aren’t Elena’s love language or man, her tank is for sure empty right about now. Crazy, crazy developments with Stefan and a girlfriend of the past…make that two girlfriends of the past showing up in this episode! I am so intrigued by the new addition of Rebecca. I also enjoyed the roaring 20′s flash backs!

Klaus…I officially love his role in the show. He has provided so many surprises for us this season! I did NOT see his connection to Stefan coming. I did NOT see the blast from the past twist with another original vampire, but oh…it has such the makings for emotional/love plot lines! Klaus also brought us another powerful witch. Really liking the K-factor (Klaus factor.)

Caroline’s mom has really stepped up from the vampire killing cop of the past. I am still liking the Tyler/Caroline match. Poor, poor Caroline and her daddy drama. Pulling a Pavlov’s dog on his daughter was seriously hard core.

Two final things: 1) Originals or just Klaus have some powerful, mojo compelling skills. 2) Who knew the necklace Stefan gave Elena first season would play such an important role besides compelling repelling?

The tide has turned my Vampire Diaries friends!

What did you think of last night’s episode?

OMG moments?
